Acting on behalf of Cummins, we acquired on a Design & Build basis the new UK Logistics Centre (UKLC) situated close to Cummins UK Engine Manufacturing Facility in Daventry. UKLC is Cummins first cross business operations hub allowing greater efficiency and centralising processes. The hub consolidates storage capacity previously shared across Cummins network and third party warehouses to support its UK manufacturing sites and after market products distribution.

Following the acquisition for Cummins we remain involved in Apex Park Daventry advising Prologis in the disposal of a further 500,000 sq ft of development space.

Prologis Park Midpoint, Sutton Coldfield

1.4 million sq ft    70 acres

Midpoint was part of the Severn Trent portfolio which was acquired by Prologis in 2006 advised by the team when at Gerald Eve. Following the acquisition, our involvement remained through the development of the scheme which continues today where we are currently marketing DC6 167,000 sq ft.

Acting on behalf of Peugeot following the sad closure in 2006 of their car plant at Ryton we marketed the site which eventually became Prologis Park Ryton. The scheme extends to 2 million sq ft of Grade A industrial and logistics buildings, 500,000 sq ft more than the old car plant. The automotive history of the site has been retained with occupiers including Jaguar Land Rover Logistics and their Specialist Vehicles Operations (SV) together with the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC). Today we are marketing DC4 which is 165,000 sq ft.

Following on from the sale of the Vauxhall warehouse site at Toddington, we advised on the development of a 700,000 sq ft new national parts warehouse now being built by Stoford Developments Ltd for Stellantis. This is part of the Vauxhall Ellesmere Port site where the production of Astras recently ceased, but upon which a rationalised and re-equipped plant will start to produce electric vans in 2024.

Acting for credit hire and fleet management firm AX, ( Accident Exchange ) , ILP Partners acquired the Stoford developed  unit (now owned by Logicor)  on a new 10-year lease. AX had briefed ILP Partners to locate a new facility to widen their geographical coverage in the Midlands to make sure their customers have quick access to vehicles when they need them. L49 is a 48,933 sq ft logistics unit on the 32 acre scheme.
