Acting on behalf of Peugeot following the closure in 2006 of their car plant at Ryton we marketed the site which eventually became Prologis Park Ryton. The scheme extends to 2 million sq ft of Grade A industrial and logistics buildings, 500,000 sq ft more than the old car plant. The automotive history of the site has been retained with occupiers including Jaguar Land Rover Logistics and their Specialist Vehicles Operations (SV) together with the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC). Today we are marketing DC4 which is 165,000 sq ft.

A recent major development project involved us approaching and negotiating a joint venture agreement with a local farmer. The marketing of the scheme has resulted in a 670,000 sq ft pre-let to Pets at Home. Future phases bringing in other landowners will take the development up to nearly 3 million sq. ft.

Following on from the sale of the Vauxhall warehouse site at Toddington, we advised on the development of a 700,000 sq ft new national parts warehouse now being built by Stoford Developments Ltd for Stellantis. This is part of the Vauxhall Ellesmere Port site where the production of Astras recently ceased, but upon which a rationalised and reequipped plant will start to produce electric vans in 2024.

Advising Peugeot/Vauxhall (now part of the Stellantis), we confidentially marketed and sold subject to a short term lease back the 1.25 million sq ft old Vauxhall warehouse at Luton.  We are now instructed by Goodman in the marketing of a new prime industrial and logistics redevelopment on the site.
