New 667,000 sq ft National Parts Distribution Centre developed for Stellantis at Ellesmere Port
Working with JV partners Stoford Developments and Stellantis, ILP Partner Richard Ludlow commented “we are part of the team delivering this 667,000 sq ft logistics development on a 38.7-acre site at West Road, Hooton Park Airfield, which has been forward sold to Singapore Exchange-listed Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust (FLCT) which has acquired the freehold for £101m.”
The building has been pre-let to Peugeot, a subsidiary of the global automotive company Stellantis Group which owns the Ellesmere Port car manufacturing facility nearby where Stellantis has restarted production as a dedicated electric-only facility, and is the biggest single cross-docked warehouse to be developed in the North West this year.
The building will provide office accommodation and features including photovoltaic roof panels, rainwater harvesting, LED lighting and an energy monitoring system. Staff will also benefit from an external wellbeing area, bicycle storage and EV car charging points.
Further ‘build to suit’ opportunities of 100,000 sq ft to 1m sq ft are available on the Ellesmere Port site on a freehold or leasehold basis.
